University of Kentucky Center on Trauma and Children 2024 Trauma-Informed Practices for Educators and School Personnel Learning Collaborative

This learning collaborative is a series of events and it is recommended that participants attend all sessions. 

• Teams attending the training should be comprised of at least 2 school or district staff. Individual school personnel are also welcome to attend this training, although the training is ideal if you attend as a team. 
• Strong teams are interdisciplinary and ideally are multidisciplinary and include Teachers, School Counselors, School Psychologists, School Social Workers, Administrative Leaders, and School Safety or Resource Officers.
• Schools should grant release time to all team members to attend face-to-face and online learning sessions.
• Participants who are attending the virtual learning collaborative should have coverage for normal duties and access to a webcam and microphone.
• All participants will be expected to keep their cameras on for the duration of the training to receive credit for attendance.
