Amal is a clinical intern on the CATS team and research assistant for the Center on Trauma and Children. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Centre College in 2024. Amal's research interests include community-wide access to mental health services, evidence-based treatment of generational and collective trauma, and interventions for social-cognitive functioning of neurodiverse individuals.
