UK CTAC’s consultation and coaching services include several projects designed to enhance and increase the capacities of child welfare, mental health, legal, educational, and other professionals in child serving systems to respond to the needs of children and families affected by trauma. The CATS, Breaking the Cycle, and Adoption Support Kentucky projects are the primary sources of case-based consultation, though other CTAC programs may serve these functions either to assist with sustaining changes initiated through service provision or via requests for more general consultation from systems and community partners.
