Welcome!

Trauma-informed champions serve a vital role by raising awareness of the many facets of working in and around trauma, as well as encouraging actions to respond to such exposure.  Champions utilize courageous leadership and promotion staff wellbeing to lead efforts to effectively embed a systems level change into their organization.  By educating, training, mentoring, and encouraging their coworkers, trauma champions effect change from inside the organization, to the potential benefit of both the employees of an organization and its consumers.

This webpage is designed to offer guidance and resources that support the work of trauma-informed champions across agencies and settings. Check out the Trauma-Informed Champions Spotlight for a quick glimpse of work being done around the Commonwealth to support children, youth, and families impacted by trauma.
